Ryan Nagrocki – President
Born and raised in Southeast Iowa, Ryan has the strong work ethic and drive you come to expect from the Midwest. His extensive knowledge comes from years of active real estate development & consulting, 14 years as a commercial banker, and the life-long relationships built along the way. Ryan is passionate about his client’s success and looks forward to building new relationships.
As an active community member, Ryan is involved in Kiwanis, United Way Campaign Chair, Chamber of Commerce Young Professional Member, and a graduate of the 2015 Greater Burlington Leadership Class.
Ryan and his family reside in Burlington, Iowa. When not working, Ryan enjoys golfing, boating, spending time outdoors, and good quality family time.
John Mercer – Vice President
As a Burlington native, John cares deeply about the community in which he lives. John is a 2009 graduate of Burlington High School, a 2013 Graduate of The University of Iowa, and a 2015 Graduate of the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy. In his prior career, he was a Park Ranger for Des Moines County Conservation. He has always been actively involved in real estate and construction from house-flips to rentals. His family instilled at a young age the value of hard work. John is passionate about hunting, fishing, boating, and all things outdoors. He especially enjoys spending time with his wife, Sadie, and their two kids Briar and Dawson.
Kelly Wolkenhauer – Design Specialist
After years of being told she missed her calling, Kelly is following her design career dream. Kelly graduated from the University of Iowa and has worked in the Burlington/West Burlington community in customer service and administrative assistant roles, the last 12 years as Executive Assistant to the CEO of Great River Health.
Kelly has a passion for home décor and is told she was born with the gift of a “design eye”. She believes everyone deserves to have beautiful, functional spaces and is excited about helping others design their home while reflecting their own taste and personality.
Kelly and her husband, Derek, reside in rural New London. They have 2 daughters, Braylin, who lives in Davenport with her partner, Royce Barnett and Madison Mercer and her husband Max, live in Mt. Pleasant.
Stephanie Nagrocki – Project Manager, Homes for Iowa, Inc.
Stephanie strives to be an active member in her community and enjoys working with people to advance their lives, whether it’s improving their career path or getting them into their dream home. Stephanie is a graduate of Western Illinois University and has over 10 years of Human Resources experience. As an active community member, Stephanie is currently the president of the Burlington Kiwanis Club, has served as a Greater Burlington Partnership Chamber of Commerce board member, is a member of the Greater Burlington Chamber of Commerce Business Retention & Expansion committee, Greater Burlington Young Professionals, and Mississippi Valley Human Resources Association. Stephanie served in the Army Reserves for 12 years.
Stephanie currently manages a contract with Homes for Iowa, Inc., a non-profit organization that exists to address Iowa’s housing shortage, train offenders in the skilled trades and reduce recidivism. She also manages HR related functions for Midwest Realty Group, Inc.
Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband, Ryan, and their son, Aiden, and with friends and family.
Taylor Bissig – Accounting/Administrative Assistant
Taylor has been bartending and/or waiting tables for the last 14 years, and in the last few years has decided to branch out and try something new. She enrolled in SCC’s Business Administration: Business Office Management program in August of 2020, and graduated with her AAS in May, 2022. Taylor also works at The Outpost Bar & Grill. She has an 11 year-old son Levi, and is set to marry her fiance Evan in September, 2022.
Taylor enjoys spending time with her family and her animals at home. Three dogs – King, Charlie, and Mya, and four cats – Kiki, Nugget, Spideyman, and Opie.
